除了“元音+辅音”连读以外，还有如下两种情况也需要连读：

1、“r/re+元音”连读型。

   当前一个词是以“-r或者-re”字母结尾，后一个词是以元音音素开头，r或者re不发/r/，而
   且还必须与后面的元音连读。

例如：there are /where is .

2、“辅音+半元音”连读型。

   /j/和/w/属于半元音，当一词是以辅音结尾，后一个词是以半元音（尤其/j/）开头，该辅音
   音素和半元音就要连读。

例如：thank you /meet you /did you .
